Happy New Year 2010

Just wanted to wish you all a happy and blessed and safe new year. Have you all made resolutions and broken them yet? Just wondering what kind of resolutions do you think this country should be making. How about a resolution to turn back to God and put our trust in Him instead of the govenment or the almighty dollar. What do you think of this, where do you see this country heading in 2010? Do you you think the economy will improve or keep on tumbling in the wind. Listen in to The Dave Taylor Show to hear what he thinks about what is in store for us in 2010 or call in to voice your opinion at 910-864-6400. Click to the right to listen from noon until 2:00 P.M. Sundays. God bless you all and have a super year 2010.

  1. Dave and Kevin:

All of the federal representatives of my district/ state, as well as Obama, self-identify as Christians in their political bios.
When questioned, my Christian friends that always attend Sunday service, (in five separate churches), have answered there has been no mention of the "bomber" in any forum or context from their church leadership. I would not expect Christians to scream aloud for martyr status like the "pc" class would for others; but recognition of the bomber's religious intention is warranted.

I wrote the following, (congress.org), to hopefully awaken some people to the UNQUESTIONED and accepted hyper-hypocritical positions of people in power; and our "politically corrected" de-sensitized mental, emotional and spiritual sensibilities.
Would you care to discuss your thoughts on any of the following correlations?

"THE POLITICALLY CORRECT CHRISTMAS DAY BOMBER"

Umar Abdulmutallab's decision to perpetrate his terrorist act on December 25, 2009 was no mere coincidence of timing. It was a calculated and clear act of terror targeting not only America, but just as distinctly, Christianity. Yet, nearly two weeks later there is still no recognition of this very obvious fact by any government official, any national religious leader or the media-at-large. This omission is confounding given all the recent discussions about "politically correct" nativity scenes, school plays, Christmas decor and appropriate salutations.

Our own government's lack of response to the Christian community stands in sharp contrast to previous incidents involving Muslims. Following the October Michigan raid and the November Ft. Hood, TX massacre, Attorney General Holder and Army Chief of Staff General Casey responded respectively and directly to the Muslim community with compassionate protective reassurances. Our own military rules of engagement officially recognize the sanctity of Islamic mosques, holy holidays and religious ceremonies.

This contradiction is far beyond just another double standard of "political correctness". It is a blaring alarm of how deeply this "progressive" social engineering effort has infiltrated our American culture, government, military and law. The persistent and public media inquisition of those who dare oppose this "PC" trend has dulled our individual and collective sensibilities to blatant complacency. Apparently, many Americans would rather remain silent than ignite or engage a controversy that might backlash on them or their community.

That is the intended consequence ... Surrender your voice and you surrender your liberty.

The "politically correct" "progressive" movement does not promote peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among the citizenry.

In fact, "it" promotes government sanctioned discrimination on the basis of religious, cultural, political, racial. ethnic, sexual or economic affiliation.
"It" endorses federal government officials and national media outlets to "label" select Americans as "racist", "brown shirts", "un-American", "unpatriotic" , "nazi", "liars", "astroturfers", "teabaggers", "rednecks", "right-wing extremists", etc... merely for their expression of political opposition.
"It" defines your identity and then assigns your rights on that basis.
"It" establishes class through a demand for "hyphenated" Americanism.
"It" subjugates Americans sovereignty to the vacillating will of global politics.
"It" declares America an open territory, source and supply to the world.
"It" is a mechanism of "soft tyranny" that precedes a much worse totalitarian future.
